Pre-registration and worker assignments will be handled at SOG. This will expedite the formalities on Saturday morning at Turner field. Not sure if that is a yes or a no. I didn't think there was going to be any registration and check in at SOG. The intention was just to have people come hang out. I believe check in is next morning, right before the event like at a regular autocross.
i would love to make it, but i am not sure when we will be getting up there. i have a feeling with traffic and all, that we won't even make it to the area until about 7 or so (i can't get off of work that day until 3). i guess i will see all you guys at the Challenge!
Your thoughts are correct. There is not going to be check-in/registration/ANYTHING at SOG the night before....
Then why go? I dont want to go hang out at SOG...its not like we can all hoard around by tool box anymore. Its no fun w/out my command center there. Same as if it were at Classic, Royal or Troncalli.
Randy has requested us [Atlanta Region SCCA] to do check in and worker assignments on friday night to help expedite the event on saturday.
There WILL be Reg/Check-in AND worker assignments done at SOG during this. Just so everyone knows. Meredith has all the details.

Hmm. Would love to come up and say Hi to everyone but getting to SOG on a Friday evening from McDonough is laughable at best.. See you at the challenge..

This is not a requirement to come to the Friday Pre-SC event, and you can still check-in on Saturday morning. The goal of having check-in on Friday also, is to streamline the event and get started as early as possible on Saturday.
Hey Everybody here are some quick tech guidelines: 1) No leaking of fluids from the engine bay (ie oil, coolant you get the idea). Also make sure you are not low on any fluilds. 2) Tires need to be properly inflated and not show any cord 3) Wheels need to be torqued down properly, NO MISSING LUG NUTS 4) Brake pedal should be "fuctioning" 5) Subwoofers and anyother "large" items must either be sufficently bolted down or removed 6) Battery must be bolted down snugly 7) All misc crap must be removed ie bottles of water, clothes, garage door openers, loose change, Brett's pride, sunglasses .... you get the idea 8)Driver's floor mat must be removed (it's fine being thrown in the trunk) 9) NO NOS!
Indeed. If we are going to be doing Tech friday night, the vehicle needs to conform to those basic specs...as well as being like that during the event on saturday.
