Got a CEL question

    Might be silly, but would a blown foglight cause the CEL to come on? Taking the car in Wednesday, but thought I'd ask too.

    Just CBE. But that's been on the car since June. The light came on last Thursday as I was on the highway.

    shooting at a small can in the pitch black darkness while upside down and being spun around on a gyro AND the gun is out of ammo....thats what this is.

    Take it to an autozone and have them pull a code as your lack of mods make it hard to determine a likely CEL.

    Well, last night I was fixing a rattling noise with my boost guage and had to disconnect the battery. Forgot about that turning the CEL off. Can you still pull the code or is it gone?

    It's gone, you'll have to wait until it throws it again

    would a shredding/squeaking power steering belt throw a misfire code?

    i don't think so, maybe but there's not usually any sensors monitaring those kind of things
