Oh yea, she runs! :ddirty:After sitting about 1 1/2 to 2 months, shes finally running again. The downtime was caused when I changed the timing belt (first time ever and no help) and threads in a hole for an idler got stripped. Ran great across town, but had a couple strange noises the next morning so I took everything back apart. OH NO! The edge of the timing belt is frayed and I have pieces of it everywhere.

I don't really have extra money. So she sits. Then after finally getting new parts and thinking the bolt was broke off in the block, I finish taking apart to find it's the threads, not the bolt. So she sits a couple more weeks since it's the holidays, then I finally find someone to come helicoil it. Finished putting it back together earlier,:sx:, started her up and she runs excellent. Better than right after the last new belt. No weird noises or anything. Just sweetness and an engine that feels "tighter", or slightly more responsive.

Feels good to be back in the car! I had the car up for sale, but now I definitely don't want to sell it. Especially since it has a list of new parts on it.
