    Hello hello everyone.

I was referred to this forum through some posts I made on clubwrx.

    Where do you live?
I live in Buckhead (ATL) and moved here from Chicago about 6 months ago

What do you preferred to be called (not your username)?
    I go by Joe IRL

    What do you drive?
I drive an 04 WRX (silver) that I picked up last Wednesday... so far it's been a nightmare

    How modded is your ride?
Still figuring that out... I bought it w/o knowing the history of the car. :sx:
So far it looks like I have an injen chargepipe/intake, some greddy bov, a downpipe (not sure who made it) and bent-up stock rims. I'm gonna have a dealer scan my ECU tomorrow and find out if thats stock.

Where do you usually by parts?
I used to buy parts for my civic off of honda-tech and advance auto. Not sure yet w/ the WRX

Do you visit any other local boards?
    Nope

Show, Go, or Stock and staying that way?
Right now, getting my car back into shape and starting to take care of it again is priority number one. Need to do most of my 60k service.
Maybe suspension soon, rims, and an exhaust (just cause boxer's sound so pretty). If I want to go really fast I ride my 600.

Do you wave to other wrx's when you see then coming towards you?
I do! and a wrx waved back at me over the weekend. It's like i'm family.

Where did you find out about WRXatlanta?
    TheJ from clubwrx

I think I'm going to make an attempt at some of these repairs myself... (I'm a little low on tools in Atlanta)
For the stuff I can't do, I was going to take it to Top Speed or a local dealer.

welcome, i am sure if you need help all you can do is ask! these guys will be more than willing to help you. I am pretty sure you dont have a warrenty on anything, and if you did its voided by now, if you want subaru quality stuff most of us usually go to subaru of gwinett but they charge $98 an hour labor, but they will take care of you. I am no expert, but if you ever have a question there is always someone on here who can answer it for you ... even if its the realization you left a glue gun in your engine (no one really did that).

If you need some one to vent to, i know the horrors of buying a car you dont know its history, we are going through that with the SVX right now.

    Good news guys!

The Georgia clean air force is sweet. I just talked to the dealer and he is going to put a new cat back on the car.

Hopefully he'll let me keep my downpipe to put back on after I pass emissions.
