weekly/bi-weekly meet?

is anyone up for setting up a weekly or bi-weekly meet to just hang out, eat, cruise, or chill somewhere? i noticed the rest of the board has meets set up in ATL but thats a bit far to drive for a meet. im new to the area so i dont know where we could go without the cops messin around but i would be more then willing to show up

 

What area are you in?

2.5rs usually has a meet every other tuesday at a restaraunt in the sandy springs area

 

im always down for a meet just need that in advance since i live 45 minutes away

 

as long as the meet doesn't occur on Abercorn on a Saturday night, we should be fine.
Al (Pomorski on the board) posted up about Trivia in Pooler on Wednesday nights. I still haven't been able to make it to one yet, but I plan on it.
Ususally when we get together, it is either during the day somewhere or up near Pooler for dinner or something.
i can't meet every weekend, but every other week could work for me.

oh, btw, there is an autocross at Hutchinson Island on Feb 17th. I will start another thread.

 

alright i cant do meets in the daytime considering i work during the day but we could meet for dinner or that autocross would be cool

 

i think i know u man....were u driving around ft stewart? u got a front mount, lip, and some new wheels? i remember seeing it at the stop light by gate 1

 

ok is anyone up for a meet this weekend either the 16th or 17th. maybe dinner down on river street? have a few beers then go about ur business?

 

I'd be interested, but I'm also new to the area so I don't know where to go. I'm on call for work this weekend, so drinking is out for me, but lunch or dinner would work.

Do any of you like to play cards? Anything from Uno to texas Hold 'em really. I don't like playing for much money, but it's a good way to spend an evening. I have plenty of cards and poker chips, and would play host for a game night if anyone is interested (I'm in Pooler).

the only problem with downtown is that the parking, i.e. no parking around each other unless we said to meet on the top level of the Abercorn/Bay Street parking garage or something...

what does everyone think of dinner after the autox at harington island (sp?)

Ha, well now there's 2 of us! Looks like I'm in town all next week, my trip was cancelled, so we can talk about it next week at trivia.

And mellow mushroom sounds great for after the autocross.

 

the only way i'll show up for the autocross is if someone wants pics taken; although, i'm going to be heading out to tybee saturday early morning so i can catch the sunrise, photograph it and let it go so i might swing by on my way back. we'll see.

however if anyone does want pictures taken, i'll most definitely go.

now, for the mellow mushroom, are people talking after the autocross, which is on sunday or after the tune which is on saturday? i'm assuming you're all talking about saturday.

I can supply the house. I live in Windsor Forest. I have a table and plenty of chips. We can have a weekly game if anyone is interested.
