What cabin number did you have at Fontana? I see it was a Magnolia (3 bedroom) Looks like y'all had fun!!!! All y'all better make it up for the memorial day weekend meet I'm putting together! There's expected to be about 60+ cars and 100+ people coming from ALL over the country! It should be a fun event.
Me and Brantley plan on coming We had some from Florida, and some guys from Michigan trailored their S2000 down just to run it... nuts But I don't remember the number of the cabin though, they were nice though, and the area is really nice We have TONS of pictures from this weekend, so heres a few of my favorites too:
cool...the reason I ask is because I want/need to know which one it was..I have one reserved for myself for the big event (it's our ground ZERO where the majority of planning and dinners and parties happen at night...along with drinking ) and I'm trying to remember which cabin I usually get....I wanna say it's 1624 or 219....I can't remember how high the numbers go :rofl: Greg, if you could, try to remember/look it up so I can get it reserved. theres only 3 state troopers assigned to that area. But the thing is... The Tennessee/N. Carolina border goes straight through The Dragon, so if you run it at a steady pace going down, you can pretty much do what you want on the way up cause your on the tennessee side and the only way they can get up there is from the bottom... KillBoy is your friend
I remember reading on KillBoy one time that there were about 19 troopers up there one weekend. I think they pick and choose...everytime I've ever gone on the dragon, I've only seen 2 or 3 at most.
:bowdown: Killboy is also one hell of a driver, I had a chance to run up the mtn behind him in his EVO turn for turn and he schooled me all the way up. When close to the top he took off I guess he was tired of toying with me and he was about 2 turns ahead of me :eek3:! If you run it every day you pretty much will know the roads thats gotta be a sick job.I felt pretty good running with him though if only I had a camera guy following
