Back in the day we would disconnect the coil pack or splice a switch into the ignition system. What is a good quick way to disable your Subaru. Atlanta is way up there on the car theft list.

unclip coil packs when parked in shady area?

if someone comes with a flatbed, they are taking your car regardless

spend the money on lojack's early warning system and dont worry about it.

you'll know your car is being stolen by time it moves 20 feet, even on a flat bed

Yes, good idea. Too bad they won't let US track our cars and confront the person taking it...

Although that may be the case, how often do you hear of Subaru's being stolen?

I think most of the time, people are stealing other cars, Escalades, Chargers, 300s, BMWs etc...

When I lived in my old apartment off Sidney Marcus, I was washing my car one day, and saw an Impala SS on cinder blocks, with all 4 wheels missing. Saw the same thing several weeks later with a Monte Carlo. Milo's brother had all 4 wheels stolen off his 300 a couple weeks back. I have never heard of someone finding a Subaru on blocks with all wheels missing.

I don't think our cars attract the same people that steal cars, or steal wheels.

wire in a audible count down sequence and have it start the moment someone touches your car. Have it say something like "Eminent explosion in 10, 9, 8 ..."

No, so I can shoot them. If its getting stolen in whole, there is exactly a 0.1% chance of getting it back in whole, or for that matter, actually getting justice.

Even better, especially if he's similar to Jason Bourne and has guns.
