Ok im pretty new to scoobys so if this is simple im sorry but i need to keep watching these installs to know how to do them....if there is anyone out there who knows how to install one of these please pm me and tell me how much u would like to install one...thanks for all your help:wavey:
i have one on mine..its very very simple to do if you got the wiring harness with it..if so..take the plastic off the stering column and there will be a harness plug..i dont know how to describe the plug but it will be the one the harness fits into..plug the harness tap between the stock ignition plugs..then run a power and ground from any source to the turbo timer..then run the e-brake wire(brown i think) to the wire on your e-brake..its been a while but that was my first mod..hit me back for any more questions
will do...i think the biggest thing is just tearing down panels and running the wires...hate doing that
Yeah I took apart some of the interior last weekend. It was sooooooooo much easier than a Honda! And it all goes back together! Just like Legos...
cool imay make it a weekend project since they are calling for good weather...do u know if i have to clip a wire to ensure that i can lock the car and activate the security alarm while the car is in countdown?
im not sure..i didnt but my keyless entry wont work during countdown..i was just about to make a post about getting the alarm and locks to work..anyone who knows chime in..
Unfortunately not many people run turbo timers on WRXs. The way the turbos are cooled makes it not as necessary to have a turbo timer as some other boosted cars. That being said, try looking at this thread for a start. Maybe there is some more info on Nabisco. http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=228
