I was just wondering if anybody is going to auto-x this weekend at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds?. I will probably go both days as a spectator. Thanks, Mark
I might stop by to check you guys out....on saturday?...late afternoon? is that when everyone is planning on meeting up if your not registering?
Here is the website for the ATL autocross: http://www.joesvideos.com/scca_reg/index.py Saturday is the a solo school intended for the Mini club, with 6/40 spots filled by non-Minis. Sunday is the actual points event. I am out of town, but my wife is going. For the points event, registration closes at 10am saturday morning. You don't have to pre-pay for the event, but if you don't pre-register, you won't be running. Best of luck to all who are going. -- Brian
I may be there to race if I am not too tired from my 10 hour drive tomorrow. If I don't race I will probably at least stop out at some point during the day. I need to test out the new lowering springs, performance alignment and tires.
Quick question just to make sure. My legacy GT 2.5 with front and rear sways should be in STU (which is what i ran in last time at turner field) right? After turbo back i'll still be in STU right, or will I move into street prepared or something?
i believe u will still be in stu unless u get EM that will change the boost with the wierd weather this weekend, im not gonna make it to this event
well i went out and met wayne, and patrick both of you guys were really nice and i appreciate the advice. I hope to meet the rest of you guys at another time.
The scca rules are online on their website and have a pretty good rundown for what puts you out of what...including the infamous debaging class change.
I stopped by for an hour or so. I didn't come meet anyone though there were a bunch of Subaru's there today. WRX's and a Legacy. I didn't come introduce myself but mostly hung around with Justin (white battered RX). Well.. when he wasn't napping. Favorite rides - the Jag was nice but really my favorite was a beater today - the RX3. Nice guy.. says he has a yard full of 'em. lol
I worked station zero with the RX3 guy and the Jag guys. The RX3 guy said that his car has six mufflers to pass the sound regulation! They were all really nice guys. Oh, and it was nice meeting you bigb996.
