Well I tried to do a brake line install a while back and failed. The SubieTV install said to use a adjustable wrench to loosen the front line......big mistake and should have used a flare wrench. It rounded and I can't get the freaking thing off. I don't want to break anything so how can I fix this? Am I forced to cut and reflare the line or what? Any help is appreciated.

Use a pair of vice grip pliers. That is what I had to use the break the lines on my car.

I did and it kept wanting to bend the lines......scared I'm gonna break it.

put a flame to it to get it hot then if you HAVE TO use vice grips.

Also, you will want to hold the other end of the line. I had a pair of vise grips on both sides of the line to get mine done.

^^^ do that, then go pick up a flare nut wrench to do the others safely

    PB blaster. 2x vice grips.

    Then hope it breaks loose.

Lots of PB and vice grips with careful torquing did the trick. All 4 SS brake lines are now installed!

    THanks guys.

Love them. Pedal feel is more crisp and the smuchyness is gone.
