It is on the top rear of the radiator. It is some sort of flaky film that is green. It is not on the front half of the radiator.

That's what I was affraid of. Recomendations? I don't know that I want to take it to Saab to have them monkey with it. Anyone got a line on a good used or resonably priced aluminum radiator?

Will I be able to use all the other stock components like fans and such. I am pretty good at wrenching, is it pretty easy to install or do I need to buy pEd some beer for some help?

$200 is not bad for an AL radiator from what I have seen.

its pretty simple, but if you have never done it before it might be good to have someone watch over the install that has done it before. let me know if you need any help

Thanks for help. I don't know how long this has been happening, but I am supposed to drive to Jacksonville, FL tomorrow right after work. I am going down now to clean up what I saw and will check it tomorrow after I get to work to see if there is any leakage. Maybe it is really slow... I will get one on order tomorrow. Back to my other question. Do I need to purchase any other accessories or can I use stuff like the stock hoses and fans?

yes, you use your stock fans and can also use your stock hoses. i put some silicone hoses on when i did mine.

when you clean off the residue check the coolant level and top it of if neeed.

I did that earlier, that is what caught my attention. I have had the care for 50K miles and the clear reservoir was at the low mark. First time I maintenanced the coolant system. I was planning on doing a coolant swap when I got back but now it may be the whole radiator... It is probably a very small leak.

I have to keep this a low budget as possible to appease the boss... Thanks again

yea, its usually a small leak at the readiator end tanks. that is why i changed my radiator also. i noticed it and didnt do anything about it for a while. i always just topped the coolant off and wahsed the radiator and engine off at every oil change. finally when i got tired of seeing the residue i swapped in the aluminum mishimoto. good luck with everything and let me know if i can help with anything
