I have heard tale the factory one is not so hot, in addition to being not so cheap. Have you had any experience with it?

i have never heard anything bad about the short throws from the factory. but other people may have a different opinion of it. the one in our STI is great.

    1. Never had any issues with warranty and short shifters except on 6MT cars. You should be fine.

    2. If you want any kind of warranty on your struts, there may be issues. Otherwise, I have never had issues with aftermarket springs and warranty.

    3. Only if you break the control arm/lateral link tabs and/or endlinks will you have issues. Otherwise, you shouldnt have any problems.

    4. This is VERY questionable. If you crack a piston, throw a rod, there will be fingers pointed at the downpipe. Period. If you spin a bearing and you have all your oil change records (from a SUBARU DEALERSHIP!) etc etc etc then you should not have any problems, but do be aware that it will create issues.

Just make sure to have SS at Top Speed to tune your car. You will not have issues that way.
