I've heard mixed reviews about the Prosport gauges. I've installed a set in my buddies WRX and they seem to work well but he has only had them for a month.

Another guy I know installed some and has had nothing but problem with his oil pressure gauge. However he is not that bright when it comes to installing stuff and I think he fubared something up with the wiring (he only finger tightening the oil pressure sender and that thing leaked oil like a mofo and he blamed the Prosport sender for a crappy reading....I reinstalled it with the sandwich adapter and it worked like a charm until later it messed up like it was grounding at the wires somewhere).

I need to get a new boost gauge since my Defi sits at 2 psi when off. I want to get boost, oil pressure, oil temp, and EGT. However I can't spend $700+ for some Defis. I also like the digital readings that Prosport offers. So yay or nay for Prosports?

I've seen lots installed and installed a few sets.

I have also seen a few oil pressure gauges start to read wrong...as well as the boost gauges.

You know what I'm going to say...DEFI or nothing! ;)

But then again, the digital ones may be different...I have no experience with those.

Hearing that from you is 100% enough for me to shy away from them.

Hmmmm MadDad has a nice set....wonder if those are good? I also like the new Stri gauges.

I've installed some maddads....DEFI look w/out the DEFI price...but I'm willing to bet the sending units and internals are the same as the prosports...

However, I've never had any troubles at all from the maddads. Dunno on the stri's.

I have had the Prosport electronic boost gauge for almost a year now, and have had no problems with it.

Plus, the green is at least close to the 02 WRX cluster

mine work fine, and cheap to boot. had them for about 1.5 years now (and still too lazy to tap my egt probe)

are you looking for 52mm? if so I will sell you mine (might upgrade to 60mm and a clock pod)

I don't want any used gauges but thanks for the offer.

Also I have STi gauge cluster so Amber gauges are a must!

they are pretty close. I think between them and the maddad's will be about the same quality wise (aka cheap knockoffs). the maddad guy always seemed like a dick to me (met him up at wicked big meet), but I have had positive dealings with the prosport dude for what it's worth
