    Is it me or are the fender flares not as pronounced on that one vs the factory one?

    ^^I just noticed that they seem far less flared

    Less fender means less weight, the older Spec Cs had RS hardware and interior pieces for weight reduction.

    I wonder how much less it weighs than a standard STi.

    I see your point but really how much less will that little sheetmetal really weigh?

    look at the passenger side....it's the normal flare for an STi.

    Negative on those fog covers..... oil cooler, brake ducts, empty hole..... pretty much anything else could occupy that space better than those white fog covers that pinch the lower grill down into a kissy face.....

    I'm still having trouble liking the facelift, this isn't helping much.....

    yep, flares are still there, look on the passenger side fender
