After doing the National Tour Down there I thought I might be coming to some Atlanta region Autocrosses more often. So I thought Joining here would be a good Idea.

My name is Dave, and I live in Asheville. I am sure most of you know me from NASIOC

    This is my car,

welcome to the site dude...although there really aren't many autox'ers around here, Meredith and BrianGT are always around to kick someone in the ass about going out to an autox.

I hope to make a few this season...

Got any pics of the "custom built shifter"? sounds interesting..

There aren't too many autocrossers in the bunch here. If you make it to one of the local events there will be more of us than were at the NT. I was there, I'm not sure if it was yours or your twin RS that I spoke to, but I really thought your car was looking good. I didn't really get to see it run (I was your starter). Hope to see you on 6/15.

I keep breaking my car while on track...that's a bad thing. I can't afford to continue to put money into it. :(

They're not typically that fast. I've never gone into 3rd at a local event, but I went into it on both NT courses.

*EDIT* I should clarify that. Events at Turner Field are typically not that fast. We do have a few coming up again at AMS, though.

I've gotten into 3rd at a couple events at turner. It's not often, but I've done it...of course, my gearing is different from a WRX's gearing so....
