Ok, so I have a corded Kumho Ecsta SPT and the other three are almost bald. Im rockin the stock RE92s in the meantime. I really dont care about ultimate performance, I drive like a grandma due to gas prices and all the daily driving (90% highway) that I do. AWD makes even shitty tires perform well in my opinion. What I value most is great wear, cheap price, low noise, hydroplane resistance (in a drought, i know, who cares) and acceptable traction.

So take a look at the options below and tell me what you would get for a highway daily driver such as mine:

    Thanks!

This is the highest mileage tire I've bought in a very long time. Right now I can't afford RE01Rs... I hear they're a great all-round tire, and at $98 a tire you can't beat it.

You need to watch the "total miles reported" section of those ratings. Stupid noobs always say their new tires are the best ever and totally rock at everything. As more miles are reported the ranking will usually come down.

i have S-Drives. they are really sticky. i miss sticking on ass end out on rainy days. these things grip so well, i get nuttin' even in wet conditions. RE's are fun to slide around with.

Not to flame you or anything, but a 300 treadwear isn't "sticky" at all. I bet they do work well in the rain though... Much better than REs I'm sure.

I have the cooper zeon 2xs. They are a pretty good tire. I have 10k on them now and will get about another 15k. They are rated at 280. They have broken loose 2x, but I was testing them to see what they could do. They do very well in the rain. Cheap too.

god Id love to grab a set but I think id regret it due to fast wear and road noise. Remember, this is relative to my last set (kumho ecsta spts)

I had the 452's and loved them. I delivered pizza and did quite a few mountain runs on them and they were great on wear. Also great in the rain.
