My car beeps all of a sudden

    So in the 2 years of owning my car I have never had it beep when using the key fob. For some unknown reason yesterday it decided to start. Why is it doing this and how can I stop it again? I can hear the doors unlock just fine and I don't need the beep.

    Look in your owners manual. I think its something like hold the lock and unlock button down at the same time for 3 seconds.

    Holy crap! I have been trying to figure that out for a year! Only the Japanese would do something as devious as putting the instructions on the back of the key fob!

    Wish that worked for my beep. I would love for the Alarm to beep again. It hasn't in about 3 1/2 years. It only worked for about 4 months.
