Hey Man...... How are ya? I just purchased an '05 STI and love it. Any recommendations for service in the area? (I live in Statesboro area) What strut replacements do you recommend? I have a little creaking sound coming from the back end and I'm going to have a friend of mine check it out at his service shop, but he is not a Subie expert. He does know suspensions, but may not know where to get sanely priced parts. Any help would be awesome and greatly appreciated........ Any members like to work on vehicles???? Thanks, Brett
The only dealer service in Savannah is Chatham Parkway Lexus/Subaru. They are kind of slow though. They had mine a month and a half for a broken valve, though they let me drive a Tribeca the entire time free of charge, and it was covered under warranty at least. Mine is still under warranty so I haven't branched out to find local repair guys, and I've only been here since December. There's some other guys on here who should be able to help you find local shops. If you guys get something together this weekend, I should be around for once.
yea we're plannin on a run to tybee or something on monday, maybe take some photos and drink some beer. gfred is coming back from his olympic tour which is why i thought of it
depending on what time, i might be able to make it. I will be in atlanta most of the weekend, but I am supposed to be heading back on Monday sometime. not really sure yet.
