UPDATE as of 9/2/08 Today me and 3 other classmates at my Auto services class at Maxwell took the tranny out (it was a bitch but it was ok with all the tools and lift and everything) The clutch was a Exedy OEM replacement clutch that was DESTROYED. The throwout bearing was also terrible. Anyway I called up Specialty Clutch in ATL and brought them my disk, pressure plate, and flywheel. They made me a new clutch with better material, resurfaced my flywheel and pressure plate, cleaned them up real nice all for, get this, $100 even. Then I went to SOG and got tranny fluid and a new throw out bearing for $111 (stupid isnt it) Im putting everything in tomorrow. Hopefully everything goes well. I just saved myself $1200:wiggle::fawk::ddirty:
If it has SUBARU and SUBARU part numbers stamped on it, it was the STOCK clutch which is made my Exedy/Daikin.
HAHA i just saw that, fixed. wow. Anyway guys, I put the new clutch in, everything is great, clutch is really agressive it engages really quick, I like it. The only thing I had a problem was is the o2 sensor, It couldnt reach the connector and IDK why, Im going to look at it some more later, its running with no o2 sensor right now, its ok but the check engine light is on and the throttle response isnt as good.
