I spent a good 2 days doing this, but it turned out how I wanted it. The AP will turn on when I turn the car on (by default), or I can turn it on with "H" switch regardless if the car is on or not. The "M" switch is the master switch which will keep the ap off regardless of what I do. The usb port is connected to the AP so I can just connect a USB cable to my computer and do uploads/downloads. I relocated the control buttons to where the ashtray used to be (this took quite a bit of work). Going from left to right, they are the exit, ok, up, and down buttons. That's very nice. How are you switching the power, becuase I'm really tired of plugging/unplugging the USB cable.
just cut open the usb cable and there's a red wire inside, splice a switch in series to that wire and you are set. Now, if you want it to turn on automatically when you turn the car on, that's a little more involved and you'd have to use a relay. Let me know if you have more questions.

That write up would be like 5 pages long without any pics. There was quite a bit of fabbing and dremeling involved .
That looks great! I've always loved the way you did your gauges. The integrated AP just makes it all the more cool
Awesome! Thats such a clean looking interior. All so well integrated. Also, I take it you no longer have air conditioning?
I still do, it's mesh around the gauges, I just can't change the direction of the air coming out. I had to reroute all the vents under the clock pod, that was fun :squint:.
Wow, thats slick. Talk about being creative. Plus you have the side vents. So does all that cold air ever have an effect on your gauges' operation?
I've had it for 2 years and haven't had a problem yet. They are mounted in the gauge cups that came with it, so that helps to to insulate the electronics inside the gauges from the cold/hot air.
