My birthday and Christmas are around the corner and my wife wants to know what to get me. I already have a Cusco RSB set to the middle setting and am thinking about a FSB to tighten her up. Any suggestions on one for an 05 wagon would be greatly appreciated. Andy
I got mine from Whiteline(22mm adjustable), hasn't given me any trouble and is of good quality. Was kind of annoying to put in, but you can do it by yourself. Make sure you get the wagon version and also get endlinks. If you don't have them for the rear then now is a good time to go ahead and get them all around. Just know that the rears are the same on these WRX's, but for wagons the fronts are different.
Wagons aren't that different. There is a few millimeters of difference in track width. A sedan bar will fit on your wagon with a couple of spacer washers and give you zero issues.

If you don't take it off road, get a 27mm whiteline. You will love it. If you do take it out in the sloppy stuff, I would suggest keeping what you already have.
I'm in your same boat, but it was recommended to me not to get endlinks until mine broke. Not sure the difference in the STi to wagon, but if you want to save a little money, use what you have until you need new ones...that's my plan, anyway
Go to Turn in Concepts, I'm sure they have the 27mm FSB, remember its not "wagon specific" so you will find it under WRX or STi. I think the product number is BSF36XXZ or something like that
I guess the thing is I don't know if I want one that big. Anyone have an opinion? How would it feel daily driving? I don't autoX but may do some track days when funds become available.
I dunno how a 27mm would feel, but I would assume it would create more oversteer in our wagons. I personally went with 22 adjustable on both ends. The rear I have on the middle setting and the front with the first. Sure it understeers a bit, but if you do the typical awd 'slow in fast out' technique it's pretty neutral in it's handling with a touch oversteer. Putting it on the last setting might help it some more, I dunno as I have yet to try it. It's definitely far from the oem setup where you just understeer everywhere. I find it to be a nice setup for the street as it's plenty predictable.

I used to daily drive the 32mm Strano and 26mm Whiteline in the rear. I loved both of them. Nothing beats that Strano though. The car will stay completely flat through corners. So if you like the twisties or just going fast around corners that set up will treat you nicely. I used the stock endlinks for a while with the 26mm rear with no issues, but I did eventually upgrade to the whitelines and it just make it a little sharper of a feel. Overall, no oversteer spinouts or any craziness like that. No understeer plowing if your alignment is good.
I run my 27 front and 22 rear daily driving and its great. I still don't get oversteer until I change pressures for my autox setup. Unless you are planning to run really high spring rates, there is no reason to be afraid of getting a bar as big as 27mm.
