ok so my car has had some random problems in the past and i was never able to figure out what the problem was until hallowween when i was getting ready to go to a club my car starts jumping like it had before so i headed home for my truck and it started choking out.. bad.. i mean really bad so i coast on to a side street and it would crank up but then choke out (as if there wasnt enough fuel or air) i tinkered around for an hour and after it cooled down i got it to crank up and move so i drove to a friends house and he suggested it could be.. little sensor on top of the throttle body.. he said "if it gets dirty it cause cause similar problems" so i purchased a new gasket and we set about removing it and when we loosened the screws coolant begins to shoot out of the seal... i havent removed the tb but i will and post my findings later whn i do ... i think the coolant chamber in the tb has cracked and is leaking into my intake manifold ...... sry this was so long but ive call several ppl out here(in texas) but no one has ever heard of this problem.... ty for ur time .
u know what.... im an idiot ...i didnt know that coolant ran into that part ....... nevermind car still lurching and keeps choking someone was telling me that was the problem .. and i dont know anything about that part of the car
check your idle air control valve, i bought a used one on nasioc when mine goofed. you can try to clean it with throttle body cleaner, but it might not work look it up on nasioc and there will most likely be pics of everthing in that area. is your car throwing any codes?
well all that checked out and buy the dealership out here turns out the dude who told me to post that is a freaking retard.... so i wen tto the dealership and it turns out one of there better mechanics lives just down the road so ha came over and we messed around with the car and it turns out i have a problem with the fuel system the injectors are good the lines are good the pump and the sending sensors are not good(dont know whats wrong yet but there not good) and the car thinks its running out of gas when the tank is half way full... anyone else have this problem replace the pump?
