Hey guys, trying to eliminate as much spam email as I can in my Yahoo acct. I was looking around and theres an option for "Filters" where you can send stuff right to the trash bin if it contains the words you specify. So I set up the most common crap email words.. and it doesn't work at all! Is there anything you guys do to eliminate crap emails that I can try? My work has a website you can forward your spam to and they somehow make it go away, but I don't want to use that for my personal acct... Has anyone used these filters successfully and maybe I set them up wrong?

Honestly, the easiest way I've found to resolve this is to open a gmail account and forward your yahoo account there. Their SPAM filters are the best I've seen.

are you talking about forwarding.. or just closing my Yahoo and creating a gmail, and having to change it with all my friends/creditors???
