Where do you guys order your parts?

I am soon going to be ordering exhaust from rallysportdirect.com
Anyone used them? Are they a good company to order large expensive items from?

i order from where i find a good deal on good parts. Money talks lol. Do your research, compare prices, find a good deal, and place a order.

rallysportdirect has a pretty good rep as far as I know. I either buy from dealers on eBay or our local shops personally

also check the vendors section here and on nasioc...times are rough right now and a lot of the tuning shops are having some really good prices on items they overstocked.

www.importimageonline.com. Josh is a good guy and has real competitive pricing. TiC rocks at life as do our local guys (10thstreetJDM, TopSpeed, Sakari).

Vivid still and always will suck.

Yea I use rally sport direct sometimes. I have done allot of ordering through Flatirons Tuning. They’re actually a Suby dealer with an aftermarket shop. They are surprisingly competitive pricewise and their customer service is spectacular. If you order deal with Michael Markowski.

Batlground and Topspeed can get you just about anything you need, just tell them what you have been qouted and see if they can match the price.

I bought my Spec C Roof vent from Rallysportdirect. They were excellent. Ordering was easy, same with payment. They got my product shipped out right away, and I got it a couple days earlier than my tracking number said I would. Would definitely order from them again. :bigthumb:

Please always at least give us a chance to match what prices you've found. Plus, if you buy it through us, you can get 10% off the labor to install it.

It should bolt up just fine. I'm pretty sure all the hangers and such are nearly the same for all 02-07 wrxs and all 04-07 sti's.

Also, I ordered my Kartboy SS from rallysportdirect. It shipped in three days and I got a great price. FWIW.

Invidia stuff generally does, being pretty high quality. If not you can source that stuff cheaply and without ordering online. Any performance shop in the area would be able to hook you up I'd imagine.

And sure thing, man. Your car is gonna sound tits awesome!

Damn I'm just just useful as hell this week.

I have the g-force sports on my car right now. They're pretty good for the price. They ride rather harsh, are relatively sticky, and they seem to wear pretty long, which is good. Keep them rotated or two will probably be done pretty quickly. They are crap in cold weather. Below about 40 degrees they are just unhappy. They ride harsher, don't grip as well, and are probably wearing faster. This makes sense though since they're summer radials. I want to get some different tires to get through the rest of winter but I don't have the money right now. So no hard driving for me. I would wait until it gets a little warmer and then get them.

My dad had those kuhmos on his car in a 255. He had some alignment issues but even with that they wore rather well and were pretty sticky. I think the g-force sports would be a tad more aggressive overall.

I would say spring for the g-force super sports. :naughty: Berzerklo has those on his car. They're a good aggressive all season performance tire and they're not retardedly expensive. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+Super+Sport+A/S

    OK one more question:

What is a boost controller and what does it do?

Maybe this thread should be renamed..."Bug-Rex's Noob question thread"

A boost controller lets you adjust the amount of boost. I'm not too sure about the bugeyes but I know on my 04 you don't want to have a manual boost controller. The car wont act right because the boost is controlled by the ecu, I think all WRXs are like that. I don't really know what you'd have to do to make it work right, but if you're looking for more boost you need to get a tune. But keep in mind the stock WRX turbo maxes out at about 17psi.
