adesso's 2004 STi (updated pics on Pg. 2) So, as promised, here she is. I'll have to dig up the most recent photos of her, she's had a few cosmetic changes from a mishap I had on Buttonwillow raceway in Jan 07. She's much more subtle now, most people wouldn't give her a second look as a result. :ddirty: The video clip below shows the build up from stock to almost where she's at now. It's about 5min. "most people wouldn't give her a second look as a result". I would probably hurt myself taking a second look! Holy shi*
man that car is seksay! gotta love the flake in the jbp. and its fast to boot! :eek3:nice car.
Nice Sti Adesso. Were about in central cali are you? Dan and Ian tuned my car also, great guys. Have you been to there new shop? It's huge compared to the old shop and they now have a Mustang Dyno instead of the Dynojet. Rudi
Thanks for all the kind comments. There's absolutley no head work done. The block is completely stock. I will however be looking at getting some headwork done as soon as I can afford it. I'm looking at Cosworth's heads package. In addition, when I get that far into it, I'll probably get forged pistons and rods as well. We'll see how that goes. It's an expensive endevor and I want to do it right. But for now, I'm extremely happy with her. Dan's crew is awesome. I haven't been able to make it down to see him since they moved, and from what I understand, he's not doing as much tuning himself anymore. I've heard that Ian is quite talented when it comes to tuning. I'm hoping to drop by and see them one more time before I move. I will keep in touch with them after I move, as they've been an extremely professional crew and I trust Dan's tune immensely. He's done ALL the tuning on my car since I got it. I'm north of Santa Barbara... about 45min north. It's not a bad area... just expensive. hahahaha, what I meant by that is how she looks now. The pics posted were done right after my last tune with Harman Motive when we did the turbo upgrade. I had an unfortunate mishap at Buttonwillow raceway about 3 months after those pics were shot and she looks completely different now. Much more sleeper-ish. I'll try and find the newer photos here in a bit and update with the new pics. Not many. There are a couple, and being that photobucket is blocked here in Iraq, I don't know if I'll be able post them. There really isn't much to see interior wise... she's pretty much stock-ish looking on the interior minus the JDM goodies and the Defi's...
Okay, so here are the most recent pics of her. I had to go on NASIOC and dig them up since I can't get into photobucket from here... Anyhow...
No wing, that is so damn clean. I am not bias against the wing, but have never been a big fan of it (although it may actually have a function). If had a STi the wing would go. That is a sleeper extraordinaire which is more my style! Love it!
I actually have a Limited spoiler I was thinking of putting on, but I'm not real sure about it. I like it, but I like the wingless look ALOT. Plus washing, waxing and drying is a breeze with nothing back there.
I think the car looks better now than it did before. The limited spoiler is sublte enough that I think it would work if you had it painted to match. REally nice car though. I love the new wheels and although I'm not a big fan of gold wheels, they look great with the paint on your car. Nice work, and good luck on the move.
Sweet car! I like it, but like the before pics better. I like sleepers, but there's something to be said about the " I'm in your face and here to kick some ass" attitude about the lines on a STi. It takes it to a whole new level when it has all that done to it though.
Very clean STI. The first pics do look more agressive and ready to kick ass, but the latter are more subtle and clean.
What insert is that on your hood? Do you have (or can you get) a closer look at the scoop replacement?
Your ride is freakishly awesome, I feel for the poor sap that tries to to run you. last time i was in cali I saw a sick 07 white with carbon parts on hood trunk and front fenders dippin on 60 near pomona.
Wow... I really need to update this... Lets see... Added a Carbon Couture rear window spoiler (Ureshi Industries replica) Getting my limited spoiler painted Oh, and I finally move east... I'm now in Summerville, SC Pics to follow shortly.
Thanks. I need to clean her up and get some new pics. I have a new set of Advan's coming in too... well, used, but you know what I mean. That means my factory BBS's are going up for sale. I'll post in the F/S section if anyone is interested.
Advan RG I's in gold, 17x8.5. :eek3::naughty: Been looking for a set forever and finally managed to get my hands on em. Still have my RS's and those aren't going anywhere, I'll probably end up using the RG's for track duty since I'm selling my BBS's now.
+43 You have 05 hubs, don't you? If you do, you can get the 17x9's... (+35 offset if I remember correctly) THOSE are sooooo sexy.
