Ive been thinking about it past couple of days...i have a pearl black 04 wrx. I dont want to go to dark and just not be able to see anything, just wanting to get that nice blacked out look. I plan on using VHT nightshade...seems like the way to go after reading up on it. What do you guys think, good or bad idea??? idk...i cant seem to make up my mind. Thanks guys!
I've used it before. It's great! I believe I did 3 or 4 coats on my GTi back in the day and they came out perfect. It made them look like factory tint job that the MKIII/MKIV GTi's had. there was a guy on here who had his tinted and wanted to trade....find him!
Yea i found him, im willing to trade. I was just seeing wat everybody thought about tinting tails...as long as its not overly dark! just to make a nice clean "murdered out" look, thats wat im going for pretty much..
gfred did a pretty cool thing to his tail's on his black 07. he tinted them all red, it looks very nice im sure you can find a pic of it on here
Yea i thought about that...i think i saw that pic, i liked it. i just didnt know if red like that would be the way to go. lol...im trying to look at my car and picture the tint...seeing if itlll look good lol...
Ohh i see, i like it. I guess im just unsure of the turn out. Im afraid that if i dont like it or something...i wont be able to fix it. Thats probably because i just havent seen to many WRX's with taillights blacked out or smoked. ...Maybe if i saw more...idk lol.
One of those tint kits? are they cheaper than buying some Nightshade? i read some about the kits but figured they didnt do as good job as nightshade did....or atleast it seemed that way.
ahh I did not realize it was spray. You could always test the static tint to get a feel for it. You can get it at any auto parts store.
Static tint? the kind u can take off?? Im thinking about it...i just need to see how it looks before i do something permanent.
Yeah the static tint. I have some at the house if you want to come by one day and try it out. It will not last and looses its stick quick but at least you will know how black out will look! PM me if your intrested!
