All of those people said they wanted to dyno, but none of them have paid. Remember people...we are not taking walk-ins for this event.
I would go with my car, but IFO Montgomery is having an event... maybe if theres a future dyno day ill make it for sure!!
The paypal address to pay for this event is in the first post. The event is through wrxatlanta, so please use that address to pay. Right now we are thinking about a cutoff date, which will most likely be Wednesday the 27th.
The next person that pays and is not one of the 8 names already on the list...will get my coupon for 1/2 hour of FREE TUNING with Scott Siegel! That's an $80 value!
I just plan on coming to eat hamburgers and talk shit but I will probably get roped into grilling knowing the hosts.
I can't believe this is all the people that want to dyno. Even if you are not currently modded but plan to someday this is a golden opportunity to get some inexpensive base runs.
don't think I can, depending on the type of dyno. no DCCD controller makes some dynos do funny things
so, my wrx does not have a dccd controler either. and ive paid for a dyno already for it. does that mean i should not dyno my wrx?
Well it's confirmed, I will not be able to make it. Uncle Sam will not give me the day off, sorry folk's, I really wanted to come out.
I wanna come!!! Holy Crap!!! I'll admit, I haven't really had time to look at this site in a while, but it looks like I checked back just in time. COUNT ME IN! I had my car tuned and dynoed back in August, but it doesn't seem to have the "punch" it once did. I'm not sure if it has actually lost any power, or if I have just gotten used to it. I guess this will be my chance to find out on the cheap. Before the day is over, I'll log back in and do the Paypal thing. And congratulations to Scott... I've only spoken with him in regard to the car, and had no idea there was a little one on the way. EDIT: Payment sent! I look forward to seeing everyone. Here's hoping my car is still holding its own....
First post has details. Paypal the money and show up on the 30th! Thanks for supporting the US and our freedom!
I'll be there for an hour or two as I'll have to go to work early in the afternoon. I, mostly, want to talk to Scott about my build, if he's not too busy!
Yeah, being the rocket scientist that I am, I drove up there today after my race in Alpharetta. I was wondering why the parking lot was so empty when I pulled in. Doug and crew got a good laugh out of it. Oh well...
just got back into town...paid for 1 car. won't need to dyno the fozzy since its getting vf39'd and tuned tomorrow. so the old wagon it is
Some are fine without a DCCD controller and some aren't... It's VERY rare to have one that spins the rear rollers different from the front, but it does happen... The cars that can't be dynoed are normally VERY loose on the street, if your car still handles properly, you're probably fine. Siegel
no, it wasn't uncalled for. the people had been asking for over 2 weeks and none of the necessary people replied although they had been on the forums AND in this thread
Language goes a long way. On topic I'm surprised at how few people have signed up. If I wasn't closing on my new house Friday (we'll see if it happens this time) I'd be there. Maybe Scott or Doug should contact Drew and wrap up the day with tuning that beast!
as does ignoring very important questions. that's all I have to say and I'm not explaining myself any further
Due to the extremely low number of confirmed people, we are thinking about allowing walk-ins for the dyno. However, if you want to be a walk-in, you WILL be paying more than the $40 for a registered sign up.
How is the payment working? I need to know what is going on for this...will i be keeping tabs on all that get tuned and making one bill for WRXAtlanta? Make sure you guys let me know what is going on please :wavey:
Chill terd! Doug was out of town for about two weeks and scott had been on the dyno non stop! Sorry we didn't answer someone else's question in a more timely manner, however our phone number is posted, anyone can call with questions. :wtc:
Yes, I believe that is how it will end up working. All of the payments so far have been to WRXAtlanta, and hopefully we will get some more before Saturday...
^^^That will take all day and not leave any room for anyone to dyno. It would be nice though. Patience...you'll see those damn numbers soon enough!
It'll only take half a day Both Scott and Doug has done 2-3 cars in one day. Shoot Doug did 4 cars in one day with me and another car taking much longer than normal. I'm not rushing on seeing those number dang! I'm just trying to help a dude out because I know he's ready to drive the car!
