Hey guys, On June 6th Dean Jones is planning on holding another Tint Day for the S2000, WRXAtlanta and EvoAtlanta community. Depending on how many people sign up, this may be extended to include June 7th as well. This is the 3rd Tint Day event that we have held for these communities but typically they have been separate. Prices for the S2000's, WRX's and Evo's below. If you have another car that you want tinted other than these cars, please contact me for a price. All cars will be done by Dean. Dean has 12 years of experience in window tinting and have tinted a long list of cars on all 3 of these communities during the last 3 years of Tint Days. He can do all cars with a 1 piece seamless rear window and all roll-up windows are tinted to the top edge and "shaved" to blend in with the lip of the window and make the job look as factory as possible. All film comes with a Lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, bubbling and fading. The film used will block out 99.9% of UVA/UVB rays and blocks out 45% of direct heat. Dean has lowered his prices this year! The prices are as follows for 35% darkness (legal limit in GA): S2000 - $100 WRX (4 Door) - $140 WRX (Wagon) - $160 Evo - $140 *Windsheild strips and sunroofs are an additional $20. *Anyone asking for illegal window film will be reported to the authorities. J/K... Here are a few examples of his work: Location: 123 mill creek dr Canton, ga 30115 Attending: welery gotsol
I did this last year, he used ceramic 35% for me. Results: Bump for a damn good job at a damn good price
biggest difference I noticed wasn't the light (the tint's not that dark, you still need sunglasses), but the amount of heat it keeps out. With the black leather interior, my car would become an instant oven, especially on long trips. It stays much much cooler now. I also think 35% is the best number...I can still see out my side mirrors when backing up at night. edit* - btw, I paid $180 for this last year, and that was still cheaper than I was quoted at some of the local shops. $140 is a helluva deal
yes, i know how tint works but i will be getting the strip as well. and i have no A/C so this is a win/win
I also had it done last year with 35% ceramic, holding up great. If Dean is still using the same Llumar 35% ceramic tint, I have two cars. btw, any way to contact him?
LLumar's High Performance. It has the same metals in it as their ceramic line, but it is less likely to interfere with electronics and offers the same warranty against fading and heat rejection as their ceramic film.
Thanks...that is a great deal if he using Llumar tint. Do you know how much he would charge to do a Legacy/Outback wagon?
Checking on all the qoutes for you guys. He's at work with no forum access. so far i have M35 VW R32 XC70
I would like to attend, but I have to work at 4. Do you think he could be done by 3 or so. I have an 06 STI. Or would he be willing to do it on monday? If yes to either one than tell me when and where.
Yes, we can make sure we take care of your car earlier in the day. His address is noted in the first thread
I would be in, but only on June 7th. Please let me know if he is extending it to June 7th. Thanks. 2004 wrx wagon
Can I get 70% for the front driver and passenger and 35% for the back, and rear windows on a 9-2x? I may be moving back to CA soon. How much would that be?
For further clarification, I am probably not going to use the "ceramic" line by Llumar any longer because it has gotten so darn expensive and while it is a ceramic based film, it also has other metals in it similar to the High Performance line. So, it makes no sense to pay those insane prices for a film just because it has ceramic as an additional material in it. Secondly, while I do have some Llumar film available, I may be switching film companies depending on my research of the new company and their films. There are a few players on the market that I've had the chance to test their film and I have really liked it. Enough to make me consider switching to them after using Llumar for 10 years straight.
It will be extended to June 7th if we get more than 4 cars combined between S2kAtlanta and WrxAtlanta and EvoAtlanta. Currently it looks like we have that, so as long as we can confirm those cars are indeed coming, we will definitely be extending into June 7th.
Yeah, 35% only currently. I don't have enough demand for anything else to warrant buying entire rolls of it.
