Mountain Run to October Fest Oct 18th

i am trying to make this work. just working on the transportation issue.

maybe someone wants to come pick me up and come to teh GSU game in statesboro on the 17th first then ride up after??

Bettie needs to go on her first mountain run.... we'll see what the hubs wants to do. The traffic around Helen during Octoberfest is a nightmare though..

DETAILS:

When: Sunday October 18th @ 9am
Where: Walmart in Dahlonega
What: Meet @ 9, do a run or two, explore some N. GA mountain roads and head over to Helen for lunch/Oktoberfest
Who: you and your closest friends

If you don't want to do the run feel free just to meet up in Helen around noon. Parking there is usually pretty hard to come by so just park and we will all meet at the fountain in the middle of town around 1pm (this should give the stragglers/slow group plenty of time to catch up) We will then all (hopefully) decide/vote on a lunch place and just chill. the rest of the afternoon is up to you if you want to do more runs, hang out and go tubing or just walk around and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

and im going to the georgia southern game the 17th then riding up afterwards. we are meeting sunday morning the 18th at 9am........

sure is, against Virginia...I'll be in El Paso all week, but I caught an 11:47pm flight back on Friday just to catch it.

Count me in as a photographer! The last run was a riot. I'm most likely not going to be in my truck this time(remember that crazy yellow thing?). I'll either be on my Suzuki or in a friends R32. The pictures this time should be outstanding.

Is there a route planned out? I was going to suggest the stretch of 19 between Dahlonega and Blairsville...

 

we have a route. but it will be discussed in better detail once we are all together at the walmart.

we don't post our exact route for, umm obvious reasons like lurking po po's
