That’s right boys and girls, Decker, Jason, Shawn and I are moving to Forged Performance on Cobb Pkwy. http://www.forgedperformance.com I’d like to start by thanking all the WRXAtlanta folk for all the support over the last few years. We have really appreciated the friendly and supportive community here. Forged Performance is one of the premier Nissan and Infiniti performance shops in the country. Not only have they built a number of record-setting Nissans and Infinitis, as well as some awesome Evos, but they have also campaigned very successful racing seasons in Redline Time Attack and NASA Time Trials. They offer everything from general maintenance, to race car fabrication and prep, wheel-and-tire sales, to track-support and driver-coaching. Many of you got to see the owner of Forged, Sharif, ALMOST set the overall 4-wheel-vehicle track record at Talladega Gran Prix two weeks ago at the TS Time Attack. He took their FULL interior R35 GTR to a 1:00.7; just a tick behind a Grand-Am race car’s 1:00.6. We will be running quite a few Forged Performance track events and I will continue the Siegel Racing Driver Education Clinics. We’re hoping to have an event at CMP soon. Forged has a stellar reputation among the Nissan and Infiniti crowd, but they hadn’t dipped into the Subaru market, until now. Decker, Jason and Shawn have been setup with all the tools to provide the same ultra-professional services at Forged as they have in the past. Forged’s load-based Dyno-Dynamics dyno lets us not only make full-rpm sweeps like an inertial dyno, but we can also hold the car at any rpm which makes tuning certain types of engine management very quick and precise. Many engine builders suggest this type of dyno and loading for engine break-in. The Dyno-Dynamics dynos also tend to require less tuning adjustments when going from the dyno to the street than many other dynos. It also has a feature that I’m VERY excited about; we will be able to put boost and AFR plots on all the dyno sheets. Look for a WRXAtlanta Dyno Day and some exciting tuning pricing options coming soon. I want to personally thank all of you here on wrxatlanta.com for all the support over the last 6 years, and I hope to see you all on Cobb Parkway soon. Thank you, Scott Siegel
sharif is a great guy, been on a mountain run or two with us in the past. forged has a great reputation but dang!
Decker and I will be starting there Monday, Jason and Shawn will follow as soon as the current projects are done - most likely by mid-week... Siegel
Cool....I suppose. Now I can choose to get a G35 or STi.... Scott, get your feet wet in German cars ASAP, lol!
Wow. SS on the move again. I hope everything works out well for you at the new shop. If you were a woman and performance shops were men, we might be calling you something by now!
and less than one mi from work, now if it will just slow down a bit I can swing by... Glad to have you back in the hood.
Were sorry to see them leave, however it doesn't change anything here. We will continue to build, tune and push the envelope just with a different group of guys.
:eek3::eek3::eek3::eek4::eek4::eek4::eek4: Well, I am stunned to be honest. Will they, Forged Performance, be joining the forums to promote Subaru related services and parts or did I miss read something? Also, on a side note, I can almost trow a rock and hit FOrged Performance from where I work in the Marietta Trade Center.
Absolutely. A major reason that Decker is coming is to make sure that we can FULLY support the Subaru community. Siegel
VDub and Audi please, lol. Seriously, congrats on the move. Best of luck to both shops in making powa:bigthumb:
 Glad to hear that the move is official now. Congratulations on finally finding a place without a crazy commute  I wish you and your team the best and hope that you all are able to find a good home with Sharif and Forged Performance. It goes without saying that Scott always has and always will take care of the Subaru community. Even if he becomes inundated with the work from the Germans and higher-end Japanese
I'm a bit surprised to har this as well, but I'm sure the future is bright! I first began to understand the Subaru world at a dyno day at forged. I meet Milo for the first time and realized how strong the community is. The guys at forged are great people and do amazing work! Sharif and Scott will make an amazing team no doubt, not to mention I live 5 miles fron the shop! Best of luck Forged now get to work! Now you guys just need to convince Devon to move back!
well, this caught me off gaurd, but i wish everyone the best of luck. i just have one question? is forged going to expanding their shop, cause last time i was there about a month ago, it was pretty packed already and if you add the subaru aspect, it doesnt seem like forged will have enough room for everything?
He's not coming back...he's way too happy in charlotte...I visited him in March...Miss him a lot too!
