Seems like a month ago... It was cool... I'm a GT fanboy though, so switching over will take some time.

 

I picked up my copy of forza 3 today. Too bad my xbox is at Microsoft lol

 

Picked it up today. I like it so far. The way the career is set up is kind of weird though

 

I've only played a few races, but so far it's pretty sweet. Saving up for the Subies of course. lol

 

Just downloaded it.. Going to try it out tonight

 

I played some more last night and I have to say that I'm impressed so far. I decided to crash the shit out of my car just to see what would happen and not only did it do cosmetic damage and cause it to pull to the side but the transmission started grinding. The realism is pretty crazy.

Does the gameplay have a steep learning curve like GT?

 

You can turn on assists that make it much easier to start out if you aren't familiar with simulation driving. You can turn on braking assist, traction control, ABS, and even a suggested driving line. There's also a rewind option that lets you rewind if you mess up.

Even after turning all of the assists off and switching to manual transmission it really didn't take too long for me to adjust. Just have to remember not to stomp the brake.

 

So easy his mother-in-law played it... although she hit the wall a couple of times. She did pretty well. Now only if we can get her to use the paddle-shifters in her Outback...

I haven't really played much multiplayer on Forza 3 yet. Still working on the career and tinkering with the cars.

 

anyone else see the silvia spin in front of the skyline? That's why you never go on mtn. runs w/ 240's!

 

lolz, I just hit level 40 today... multiplayer gives you levels really quickly

I don't think there is anything for going higher than 40... but, I'll find out

 

I agree buy it, you will enjoy it, so glad they brought back the touge.

thanks, I am new to the whole decal thing, which makes it difficult, I didn't realize they had cut and paste... lol, now I do though too bad I burned about 5 hours building it... I wanted to do the whole car, but ran out of available layers.
