Sure except the top of the OEM surround is not flat or smooth by anymeans. Ask Russel to pull his out and take a photo
It's just the tip, baby. Just to see how it feels, and if you can feel the bumps, it's real carbon fiber.
It is fairly unique stuff. We've never worked with something that mimics dry carbon this much. Quite impressive honestly.
Theres a guy on TCL that's been wrapping stuff in that for the past couple of months. Can look good or kind of tacky depending on the application. That's pretty nice though!
This same stuff? As far as I know it is available from only one company and it is not the 3M stuff. I have never seen anything similar before.

Yeah, that is what J's Graphics on Nasioc is using. What we're using is not really suited for exterior use. The weave on our fabric appears tighter than the gentleman's in the threads you linked. It is difficult to tell, as the photos are always deceiving (hence my thread title).
I'll pull mine out and take a photo... if anyone is interested. :keke: EDIT: Didn't read that someone else already grabbed this low-hanging fruit
Sure dude! I am fairly close to ordering the gloss black from J's on NASIOC. Shall we order you a flat black as well?
