I have an 03 wrx wagon.

I've done a few diagnostics myself trying to figure out why my passenger side fog light is a lot brighter than my driver side.

So far I've bought new bulbs and that's not the problem. I thought it may be the tilt of the lamp... so I messed with that and it didn't help.

Still not sure what the issue is. Don't see how that side wouldn't be getting 12V since all looks fine with the housing. I've got a gauge for that ill try but if anyone has had this issue or knows what to look for please let me know. I enjoy my things to be neat and as perfect as possible and I know people are laughing at my retarded looking lights so please help!

Check the fuses. Headlights will do the same thing if one fuse is blown. The circuit goes from parallel to series-parallel when the fuse blows for one side.

If fuses ok, check grounds first then all other connections.

Which fuse? Just all fuses? Engine fuses or the fuses in the door panel?

    Thanks for the help

I believe there are fuses inside the car for the headlights and relays for them under the hood.

Read the "map" on the fuse box lid/cover in the engine bay above the battery.

would you believe the fuses are fine. at least i think so... It looks like my driverside fog is dimmer but it could be that the other one is too bright. I like the brightness though
