For the past 3-4 days, and it is still out. Comcast apparently "cut the fiber optic cable". At any rate, I am posting at work (last time I viewed was Friday). Granted, I could borrow my neighbor’s internet via their wifi, I haven’t gotten around to messing with that. I wanted to say a few things, to certain people as well as ask a couple questions. First off, I am sorry I could not attend your BBQ Porter, I really am. I was truly looking forward to attending it. The combination of loss of internet fiasco and some other things arose and changed my plans entirely. Secondly, I will need to do some major servicing on my car (15k) all of which I think I will do myself except diff and transmission. I've got the following in mind for break setup (since pads are starting to go). Pads: Porterfields (front and rear) SS Lines: Goodridge; mainly because the difference between these and the STi lines is minimal (2MM outside diam. difference). Flush break fluid: ATE Super Blue And of course, Mobile One for engine oil. Now, my next question is I am looking for someone who is exceptional with audio, I probably want to rewire my car. Not looking to change the setup, but rewire it and prep for the enclosure Brian and I will build to go into the trunk. If you feel like you can help me, please lemme know. Other wise, I'll hit up Hifi buys or the like. Also, within the next month I'm planning to have version 3 complete. In terms of things for my car, ultimately, I'd like to get a hold of the mounts I wanted, pinks, and clear (maybe paint) my headlights. Ideas? Thanks again guys, hope to be browsing regularly soon :bigthumb:
Transmission Fluid and Diff Fluid isnt too hard to Do, I need to do mine as well. Let me know if you wanna come by and do all of the above one wed-fri that im off. Also let me know when you are clearing the headlights. Jason
We can do tranny and diff sometime then, I will probably do break system and oil with a buddy of mine who's recently back in town.
As far as audio goes, a local shop down here in Peachtree City does really good work. They made a custom fiberglass enclosure for one of the employees with a bugeye 2.5RS. I'm sure they would know how to wire one up too since his car should be similar to yours. Headlight clearing day!!! I suggested this a while ago, if I ever get my car fixed and back I still want to do it.
yes, I'd like to clear em' before the 10th of Jan. + I am not sure whether or not I will be going out of town that week prior. We definately should, i am so tempted to paint mine as well, but I feel that in order to stay true to my 04 JDMness, I need to not paint Happy holidays fellas, and enjoy your xmas eve :bigthumb:
