Question about fuel pump install.

I can't figure out if the green thing attached to the fuel pump should be removed or left there. it looks like a fuel pump reg or something but i'm not sure if its ok to say bye to it or leave it.

 

Here is a pic. Its that little green thing.

 

If I remember correctly, when I changed mine over I only changed the pump and filter bag thing. Everything else that was there I left alone.

ok cool i left it there just wanted to make sure i was doing the right thing. its actually pretty quiet fuel pump. i had the same one in my integra and i could clearly hear it. i dont even know its there...

Where did you order you pump from?

 

Its a fuel pulse damner and it doesn't really matter if you leave it or not.
