Anyone Familiar with removing a fender from a WRX? Any links appreciated, as well as any assistance! Dont trust anyone to spray with the panel on, or wish to pay them 200 to remove and reinstall. From there any recommendations on where to take the panel to have the dent rolled and paint matched for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance, Jason
Its like a crumple/dent, <cry> ill try to take some pictures of it. Also, If anyone can point me to a side marker that looks like a jdm or edm 04 sidemarker I can snag at a reasonable price would be appreciated! After being tormented of being bothered with taking the fender off Im going to see if I can throw the STi Side Cowl Reinforcement Brace on as well. Ill just do the repair in late feb after track day. Still leads on good paint shops and what I should expect to pay to repaint appreciated
if the paint hasn't chipped, then go to dent wizard... i went to the location on cobb pkwy and they did an awesome job... they took out a crease in my fender and a dent in my hood... they specialize in paintless dent removal
I can look around for the sidemarker. I know for a time they were "in" on the STi boards and all 11tybillion members were trying to hype them so, I will see if I can dig up any vendors for ya. As for removing the fender, I dont really know much about that, but I do know a little bit. Also, I can let you use my shop floor manual so you can DIY, if necessary.
