Bought the white 08 STi in January with a little Jewish guy in tow. Drove it back down from PA.

Around July I noticed more blue smoke coming out of the exhaust and felt low on power. After a compression test came back with #4 just hurting, I had to do something for the engine. Instead of messing with insurance I just took it to Top Speed to have them work their magic. One week later I was back on the road.

Once I get some pictures that do not suck, we can get them up here.

    Mod List

    Exterior:
    Black painted stock wheels
Red pinstripe tape on front grill
    Kartboy license plate delete
De-badged rear hatch... Only STi remains
    Rear Wiper Delete
    ?% Tint

    Engine/Drivetrain:
    Topspeed SS1 Engine Block
-CP TS Spec Coated Forged Pistons
    One Step Colder Plugs
    K&N Drop In Filter
    Grimmspeed AOS
    GT Spec UEL Header
    GT Spec Up Pipe
    Invidia Catless DP
    ERZ "Catback" Exhuast
    Kartboy Legacy Hangers
    TopSpeed ProTune

    Interior/ICE:

    ---

    Suspension:
    COBB Springs

    I vote for a new title :)

What are your suspension plans for the future?

Don't know. Was trying to decide between coilovers or swaybars. Don't want to dump money into both right now. Forgot that I am currently riding on COBB Springs.

I think Doug still has some left over suspension parts from his car if I am not mistaken, might be a cheap way to get some if hes still parting it out.

I have heard for an entry level coilover system the BC Racing BR coilovers are the way to go. Its between that and a F&R Sway Bar setup with Steering Rack Bushings and ALK. Will probably do the bushing either way.

    Gay minds think alike.

I would highly suggest sway bars! I still need to get a rear myself. The front sway really stuck rear down, now I just need to plant the front of the car.

I did the rear wiper delete btw

i've been pricing sway bars, front and rear. were you happy with just a front? or if you did it again would you get front and rear at the same time, no homo.
