    Hey guys,

Just wanted to share the news and coverage of the most recent NASA race at Road Atlanta. It was a hot weekend and the cars were fast out there! Sharif managed to pull off a 1:29 in the GT-R with old race tires, and track temps recorded at 115 degrees He got 2 first place finishes in TTU. Sharif even had some time out in the Forged Performance GT3 to play around in HPDE.

What a weekend! Thank you everybody who came out and showed us support!

See you at Sebring Red Line Time Attack this weekend!

Nice Job by Sharif. He was driving the GTR pretty hard I clocked it at a 1:38.

The Scion must not have been competing because I clocked it at sub 1:27.

That thing is stupid, to bad the awd scion broke its 40k dollar hewland gear box or might have seen some stupid fast times.

Did you mean 1:28? Sharif won his class both days with sub-1:30's and had the second fastest overall time to Chris Rado. Sharif's official AMB Transponder time was a 1:29. Rado was fastest overall with, I believe, an official 1:26.

Rado's data in the FWD car showed SIGNIFICANT 158mph wheelspin :D

Just FYI, the tranny is an air-shifted Weismann ;)

Official results should be posted this week.

    Congrats. That Scion looks funny.

  7. Yes he meant 1:28...I think Sharif was running 1:38ish a couple laps in the GT3

Maybe if they put a bigger wing on the front of it he would see less wheel spin LOL

I have video which I will post shortly of me following in him one of the TT sessions on Sunday. I have never seen something pull away from me so quickly coming out of 7. It was like I was parked. At 170mph+ he was twitching between shifts and spinning.

Matt, I did a bunch of 1:38's with the GT3 in traffic with the stock suspension. It was really impossible to get a clean lap in the HPDE sessions. I have never seen so many people parking it all over the track. The RS Pro's are going on now, and a few other suspension parts. The 3 is really super fun to drive...I love it.

1:29.5 was my best with the GT-R in TTU.

Yeah the amount of cars on track in the hpde 1 and 2 groups was insane. I'm looking forward to coming out and running some time trial in the Subaru. I'm want my class records back in TTS.

Yeah if open track and testing is the goal, NASA isn't the place to be. Chin Motorsports rocks for that.

1000hp give or take, 2500lbs give or take, and lots of downforce. It's fast as hell...did a 1:26 in a sub-optimal state, and 188mph on the back straight.

car probably weighs 2550lbs, the other 50lbs going towards the guy's balls who has the courage to do that in that car

Cool that Rado has made the transition to road racing. I knew him way back in the beginning of the import drag racing days.
