This is not really a "hey who was that?", but more of a...wtf? I saw a C6 convertible vette this morning getting on 400 at mansell and off at haynes bridge. Light flurries, 24 degrees....and he's got his top down. BOLD. Just thought I'd share
I used to do that in my Miata - blast the heater, put on some driving gloves, and enjoy the looks from people who think you're a nutcase (which you totally are)!
When I was living in PA, my roommate bought a Sebring convertible in the middle of winter. The first night he had the car, we got a massive snow storm. We decided to go out for a drive with the top down. It was quite fun, and oh the looks we got from everybody that we passed that day.
the top got stuck down in my wife's TT roadster late one night in the winter, I think it was in the teens that night. We were using it for night driving shots of other cars. By the time I got back to Dunwoody form the airport area I was so cold my body temperature was set to constant chill. Turns out for the TT the grease form the motors got so thick it couldn't move the top!
Rrrrrrrrooooooffffflllllllll. Weaaaak. I drive home every night from work with my windows down. Lol. Without the heater of course. I love the cold. Cold cold cold.
Saw the same thing with a women in an Audi A5 vert this morning on Peachtree Indust. Was like...Okayyyy...Then I got in front of her and blasted my wiper squirters...LOL!!! She was pissed.
its still nothing compared to riding a motorcycle in 20degree weather at 70mph. whats the calculation on a 70mph wind chill at 20degrees?
