Doug did an awesome job tuning my car yesterday and their shop over there is very nice. I came in with a Crucial Racing up-pipe, Invidia downpipe, and a Espilir JGT500 catback. These parts have been on my car for about three months now and it was like a whole new beast after the tune. Here's the dyno chart. thanks Doug, David Edit: It says that my file is too large to upload and I have no idea how to make it smaller Here's the numbers: Before flash run- 211.59whp nad 209.27wtorque After flash-229.62whp and 253.55wtorque
Giovanni has a bad a$$ Evo. But we had a blast up at TopSpeed. Great guys and shop. And Tray has a purty STi.
You seem to be making more torque than standard Stage II. Like, alot more. Can this be expected from TopSpeed? *insert devil icon* I don't know if it's the custom tune or what you did differently.
250 wheel torque seems to be pretty standard on Ecutek, UP/DP, equipped cars. Our cars respond very well to those basic mods.
well, i wouldnt say its standard... it is high but there are cars that have hit that much with the same mods
Sorry guys I've been swamped with midterms, I'm hitting 17psi after the tune according to Doug's live read out from the ecutek. As far as why I got so much torque I'm not really sure, but it could be from the up-pipe that is completely catless and thermally coated inside and outside. From what I hear this coating allows the heat to stay inside the up-pipe better, which in turn flows out faster exhaust. When most people consider a stage two they don't always put in an aftermarket up-pipe and Im pretty sure that this is where the rex gets better torque numbers (and faster spool up). this reasoning could be completely wrong, David
