Hey there! As some of you may know my I moved to Japan and my white rs is now my brothers. Well after a few months of searching I found the car I wanted and bought it soon thereafter. It has a very long name, Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type-RA Limited. That long name means it is super special. I intended on waiting to take better pics before I put this up, but I've had it for a couple of weeks now and have yet to get around to taking better pics. We definitely felt it but the tsunami didn't make it far enough inland to hit us. Power was only down for four days There still working on getting power back on some parts of base. I still feel aftershocks everyday. Earthquakes suck...
Congrats Aaron that is sexy.... And glad to here your ok man I was think about but was not sure how to get in touch with you plus I lost you bro's number.....
no doubt, over 500 aftershocks 20 greater than 6.0. Was just looking at some of the pics of devastation, just aweful.
First off I'm glad you are ok and fine. Second holy nice car batman! Very jealous. How does it feel? Pretty strong for a stock car?
Glad to see that you bought a GC even though your options are endless being over there. Very envious of you right now! HAHA. Keep us updated!
It pulls like a mofo! Peformance wise it is stock. i'm hoping to buy a turboback exhaust soon. I'm having my dad ship me my Spearco TMIC and K&N intake. I'm super excited. There is a time attack at a local track I want to enter but I need to get some good performance tires and brakepads.
RHD wasn't too hard and neither was driving on the left side of the road. It is hard to judge were the left side of the car is though. I curbed the back left wheel a couple of time already, but it was already pretty rashed up when I bought it.
RHD really isn't MUCH different. Gearbox is the same, pedals are the same, etc. I thought it was going to be difficult when I first drove one, but it was pretty easy. Although, I enjoy driving a RHD car over here. Always throws people off.
What is this JPN you speak of? I didn't know they made a v6 grill! It must cook burgers super fast. I might be going to a junkyard this weekend I'll look around for ya
ha i fell ya on this.. ive done that a couple of times while i was in london... but congrats on the car purchase looks beautiful... cant wait to see more
Up here in Misawa there are literally 3 or 4 subarus in every parking lot. They are everywhere. There is only one other RA Limited on bas though and it is a little older than mine.
Went to the track last weekend... Check out the video!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guImJ0r89us&feature=player_embedded#at=16
Yo Aaron looks like your haven a good time. Glad to see all is good with you man.... Hit me up sometime.
Very smooth feeling and sounding as well. Stock redline is 8250. The ej257 is over squared imo. Doesn't feel as smooth. As for noise. It is pretty quiet. I have a catless 3in turboback with no resonators that is surprisingly quiet.
