Thanks. Guess I'm a late bloomer...I looked at my stats on another forum IWSTI and saw that I joined in 2008 but waited til now to finally get an STI. Was really hoping to make the meet yesterday but as it happens, had to drop off the car at Subaru Kennesaw to get the CBE and some other items installed this morning. Saw a PBP sedan heading northbound on 75 around 7pm on our way back home. I'll be back over there sometime today picking her up. I'm really excited at finally owning a car that is well-supported by the aftermarket AND having the DISPOSABLE income to be able to 'play'. I will definitely try to make the get togethers.

what up ere body? I'm a newbie. I live in Gainesville. Just got my stock 02 wrx sadan and also have a lightly modded 94 integra gsr. My subie is making noise in the bottom end and i don't know anything about the ej20. Does anyone know where i can get a motor or info on rebuilding the one i have?

Hello... I'm Tony. I live in Norcross and I bought my sister's '02 WRX a few weeks ago after she had engine problems. It's bone stock and the mechanic she took it too didn't know what he was doing and she just needed to get out of it. It's my first suby, but I've been around cars for a long time and have many friends with them. My daily is an 318ti and my play car is '96 240SX that's pretty heavily modified. I've done lots of autoxing, drag racing, track days, etc, and I drove professionally in Formula D and D1GP for a few years. I moved here from Ohio about 12 years ago after graduating from college and I work in IT for a large company doing internal support. I found out about this from NASIOC when I was looking for some missing parts. Was hoping to find somebody local with a spare timing belt guide that fits over the crank gear. If I don't get a hit today, I'm just going to order one from the dealer because I want to get the motor back in this weekend.

Lol this isn't the usual pos S13 project car most kids around here build. I just can't justify throwing my STi into a wall, whereas a throw away $500 shell like a S13 I haven't any problems with. Everything in the car has been/or is being replaced, rebuilt, or made. Stripped it down to the bare shell and started over. But trust me, I wouldn't mind putting the time/money into my Subbie. One day when I get another dd and graduate finally I guess. And that is amazing quote lol. But thanks guys, I miss being around car guys that don't think a $300 exhaust system is expensive. I haven't really met any Subaru people since moving from Pittsburgh years ago to AZ and now here.
I was raised there too. Lived there for most of my life, and that is by far home for me. I lived in both Cecil (Canon Mac area) and Venetia (Peters Twp area). What about yourself man?
