Thanks! I'm actually going to decline the prize (but I'm still buying the pedals on my own). They had a contest to submit a photo of you and your Subaru in an interesting situation and I had uploaded a pic to their facebook page that had me and my hubby's nose to nose with the caption "Some people have his and her towels, we have his and her WRX's". But I wasn't the one who took the photograph, Wagunz_pwn did. I guess my hubby (megadeth2118) and wagunz_pwn can make fun of me when I attempt to install the pedals on my own.
Ahh. I see. That's cool. And Rofl! Well... Well actually. I can't really say. I can say that installing pedals couldn't be that hard. But then again, I have absolutely no experience. Hahah.
I did it all by myself!!! New STI pedals! I installed them all by myself!! It was actually really easy but it was my first modification! BEFORE: DURING: AFTER:
Wirelessly posted (From Your Mom's House) Now, I am mad at you for not accepting the prize that my picture won for you. The pedals look nice...props for the install.
I ended up accepting it! I told them the situation and they said it was ok that you took the pic. :wiggle:
Hahah. Awesome. You know what would be even more awesome? Replacing the Sonata pedals with those. AR OU EF EL lluzzulzululzuzl
Bettie's been debadged! Debadging finally took place. PITA but worth it! Thanks to my hubby for suffering blisters to make this happen. I walked away with only one blister. I still smell goo gone.... Now I just need to remove the SCAD sticker. Also.. Bettie has hit the 110,000 mile mark! That's 12,000 miles since I bought her in July. Phew! BEFORE: AFTER:
The next "modifications" set to arrive on or about May 17th..... and of course the pink Recaro racing seat...... (won't fit backwards so I need suggestions from members with babies on rear-facing carseats that fit 04 WRX).
Megadeth2118's_baby has arrived. Sporting a nice Baby Trend Flex Loc carseat now. Also a lovely new mirror on the back windshield. She loves riding in mommy's car. Puts her to sleep every time! Now just to come up with a catchy "baby on board" decal idea....
Grats! The boxer rumble will continue to be your friend for putting baby to sleep for the next two years!
Congratulations! My wife and I discovered that for the best fit and front seats in comfortable position, the car seat needed to go in the center of the rear seat. You can use either the center seat belt or the latch system, whichever you can make more secure. Congrats again and have fun! Sent from my LS670 using Tapatalk
Yeah, we've got it in the center and are using the latch system. Had a hard time finding a carseat that would fit. We had lots of good suggestions from other forum members with the same car but ended up going with the Flex Loc which allowed us to keep our front seats where they needed to be (we're tall).
We'll try to make it out to a meet sometime soon but you're welcome to stop by! Updating original post with pics.
My husband is from Rome and we ride bikes out at Berry sometimes when we visit his family. My friend Alexis Stevens was c/o 97 from Berry not sure if you would know the name.
