Brian's purchase of the evo came with both leather and cloth recaro front seats. I really like the recaro seats, It's the one thing i like better about the evo ;). Anybody ever try swaping their front WRX/STi seats? I know i'm going to lose the side air bags, but the comfort and "butt/back" grasping abilities of these seats are awesome.

It won't work. I can't remember exactly why, but it won't. It was discussed on nasioc a while back.

I think the side bolsters are so wide that they rub the B pillar.

my friend has an 05 evo with a c west body kit on it nad he gave me the keys last night while i was visiting work and told me i could take it for a spin.....i liked it a lot and i was shocked he let me drive it. Turbo spools quick and the redline seems never ending. Best thing was the smooth shifting tranny hehe....i have much respect for that car now. You need to lemme take a ride in yours brian when you get it. better beat mere if you race it too!

tires are Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07 255/40-17 tires on 17x9 volk ce22n gunmetal wheels. mud flaps are the ralliart ones, but painted the color of the car.

    Looks great Brian!!

As for the seats, take the evo rails off and buy the recaro rails for the STi. They will bolt right up.

Recaro sells that same seat in the aftermarket and it bolts right in the STi with the correct rails.

I'll take your cloth ones if you ever ditch them. :p
