P0244 cel

    While driving in 6th gear today at about 55mph I hit the gas to pass a car and I got the P0244 CEL. The car boosted to 22-23 lbs which is normal for my car while flooring it in 6th at lower rpms.

    APS SR-55 Turbo (GT-30)
    PE 850cc injectors
    Grimmspeed 3 port EBCS
    Grimmspeed coated 44mm EWG uppipe
    Tial 44mm V-band Wastegate
    Walbro Fuel pump 255lph
    APS 65mm Cold Air Intake with Fender Block Off Plug
    Wbr Performance Front Mount Intercooler
    Gruppe-S V2 Coated Unequal Length Header
    Invidia V3 Catless Downpipe
    ...SPT CatBack
    TopSpeed Pro tune
    One Step Colder Autolite Iridium Spark Plugs

    Cleared the code and Havent driven it since then (because Im at work now). Any Idea why it threw the code when nothing happened different from any other time Ive driven the car?

    I read that but the car didn't over boost or do anything different from other days.

    You sure it didn't spike? Were you focused on the gauge when it happened?

    Yes I will bet my car. My gauges record the peak boost.

    Did it again on the way home in 6th gear. 23lbs of boost. I don't understand why it is doing this all of a sudden. I guess its back to the dyno.

    chk BCS lines

    tuner can extend boost limits
