Where to Clean Block and Heads?

    In the Marietta area. Just need the block and heads cleaned and possibly a resurfacing of the heads as well. Any recommendations?

    Also, what's the typical cost and turnaround of a cleaning/resurfacing?

    Also, who wants to recommend me a breaker bar that doesn't "give" when attempting to break loose cam sprocket bolts?

    get a MAPP gas torch from HD (that would be the Yellow tank), a 1/2" impact, 1/2" drive 10mm Allen socket and a hammer.

    And check with cylinder head exchange on fairground st. Just north of the south loop. Had good experiences with them.

    as far as I know cylinder head exchange doesnt do machine work, they just stock heads done by Allied or Dover, cant remember which one.

    Use the guys that does slowwrx's engine. They are always clean enough to eat off of.
