    DO NOT USE THE FALKEN USB DRIVE

    I wanted to check the size of the USB drive that Falken was giving out as schwag at Petit. I put the USB Drive in my computer, and forgot about it overnight, I come down to my computer this morning and the USB Drive is melted sticking out of the USB port of my computer.

    I will post pics shortly.

    Here is the end result of the Falken USB drive. Could have been much, much worse. I got lucky.

    that's insane

    the case on that is identical to ones i've gotten at trade shows and we gave out here at work. been using them for years for extended periods with no issues, but your photo is undeniable. possible computer issue though?

    Yikes. That could be a short though.....an isolated instance but yeah that could've gotten bad.

    dang. been using USBs forever, leave them in my laptop at home. Never thought it could melt like that.
    crazy, glad it didn't start a fire or anything.

    I've found plenty of stuff "donated" to the RV:

    1 pair of white socks - ankle.

    1x samsung microusb charger. Berger? Is this from your note?

    2x blue camping chairs...anyone?
