I figured i would ask around to see what options are out there and what everyone else is using other than stock.

    Daily/Spirited Driving:

    Rotor Type/Brand?

    Pad Type/Brand?

    Aggressive Driving:

    Rotor Type/Brand ?

    Pad Type/Brand ?

    Racing - AutoX or other

    Rotor Type/Brand ?

Mine came with Brembo pads. Did a couple of track days last year so I upgraded to the Hawk HP+. They worked VERY well on the track. They started to get really annoying (REALLY dusty, and started getting squeaky) for daily driving, so I picked up a pair of the Hawk HPS for the rears (my factory front Brembos still have some life).

I plan on doing some more track days this year, so I will just swap back in the HP+ pads for those days.

I am not sure about the rotors.

When I had my track STi.
    DBA 5000s 2 piece rotors
Carbotech xp12 fronts xp10 in rear (favorite setup)
I've also used hawk dtc60 all around.

For DD and some aggressive weekend driving I was running DBA4000 rotors with HP+ pads on the WRX with Red 4pt/2pt calipers. The HPS didn't have enough bite for my liking.

I've since swapped to STI Brembos but haven't tried anything but the factory setup yet.

I run hawk hp plus on stock rotors daily driving. They can make a bit of noise but the extra bite is worth it to me in Atlanta traffic.
