Hey everyone, I'm at work so I have to make this quick for now...

Just wanted to introduce myself real quick! My name is Kevin, I live in the Braselton area, and I just bought my 3rd WRX - a 2015 WRX Premium 6spd manual in DGM from SOK on Saturday. The first 2015 WRX sold at SOK!

The first WRX was technically my wife's - a 2002 white Wagon. We were probably one of the first WRX owners in Atlanta. We bought it almost as soon as the dealer received their first shipment.

The second was a 2013 Black Premium hatch I bought almost exactly a year ago, and I just traded it on the 2015. If anyone wants a VERY well taken care of used hatch, SOK has a good one right now.

Anyway, I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance, but it looks like all the other DGM 2015's you see all over the other forums...

    Welcome!

I believe you may be the first to have a 2015 on the site...

How are you liking it compared to the other wrxs you have owned?

I LOVE the 2015. I really never really fell in love with the 2013 - I definitely liked the 2002 better. The 2013 was a quick car, but it never really gave me any real confidence in the curves in stock form. Plus, I'm 42 years old, and I hate to say this, but I sometimes felt like I should be wearing a sideways baseball cap when driving it if you know what I mean... no offense to any sideways-baseball-cap-wearing individuals on this site lol.

The new car is on a different level. It's way more refined and it feels more like a M3 in the curves. The harder you turn it, the harder it grips, and it stays composed the whole time. The turbo spools up MUCH faster, and the turbo "whistle" sounds cooler too. Turn-in is quick, but not stupid quick, and the seats are awesome! I HATED the seats in the 2013 - I felt like I needed a back adjustment every time I got out of the thing! Also, I actually like the exhaust sound as well. I love the ULH sound of the older cars, but I really don't miss it like I thought I would.

I only have about 300 miles on it, so I'm still taking it easy. Very happy so far, but I'll know more once I'm able to open her up a little...

Sorry if I was all over the place - I'm just trying to type this fast!

I don't want to sound like I'm dissing the last generation cars. I still love them or I wouldn't have bought one, and I think they're awesome looking. If I were wanting to go racing, or even autocross, I'd pick one of the older generations instead of the 2015. The new car does have a heavier feel to it (probably because it's heavier! :) ) I do think the 2015 is a better "street" car however. For me anyway...

You're not the only over 40 guy here ;)

Bring it out to an Auto-X sometime. I'd love to see it in person. Welcome!

Not sure where to post this since I can't post to the for sale section yet.

I have a set of the standard fabric floor mats from my "old" 2013 wrx if anyone wants them - free to good home. They're plain jane with no "WRX" stitching or anything. The drivers side has a little wear, but all others look great.

Let me know if anyone wants.

Floor mats spoken for (pending meet).

Well, seems like I can't get the guy who wanted my free floor mats to respond back after he cancelled the first meet, so they're back up for grabs if anyone wants them.

Oh, and I live near the Mall of GA and work in Duluth, so I can meet around those areas. If nobody wants I'll just toss them. I hate hanging onto random things like this! They were used for approx 6 months.
