Digging the design Sam! Great work, I'm compelled to say maybe nix the road sign altogether since there is some debate over it with people being 'regional' With it removed I don't think it will mess with the composition much, if anything it may help emphasize the overall perspective/vanishing point you have going one with the rest of the design
That shouldn't matter. This is WRXAtlanta. Not AnyCarAtlanta. All of us have at one point owned one. I sure would love another if they can get their engine issues straightened out.
Thanks, Sam! I added it to our discussion thread in the management system we have. We'll let you know if there are any tweaks we want. Also to anyone else with these skillz... the more we have, the better! Maybe we can put them all up on teespring or just have a simple contest to see which one gets chosen!
Dana, why do you say that? A few things. 1. depending on the type of shirt we can easily do 2 logos and stay below $20 a shirt 2. With a few tweaks I think most really like the design Sam has created. suggestions: a. remove I-75 b. Use the "WRXAtlanta" logo or nothing. (I linked the logo earlier in this thread) 3. small official WRXAtlanta logo on the front with the provided design on the back. I'm still trying to figure out if TeeSpring will allow each individual to choose the color and type of shirt or if we have to create these options up front with a minimum to print. If I have to setup all of these options up front we can just do it with very low goals so everybody gets the color they want. At that point we can even offer a few with just the design on the front if that is desired.
I definitely would buy as is... Better than no shirts that's for damn sure. Honestly if you took out 75 and made the wrx atlanta that actual logo I think most every active member on this forum would buy one or more shirts today. Don't stress about it that shirt is kick ass.
The logo you posted won't work on a shirt that is screen printed. A similar logo can be made with just the font. The lower the goal, the more expensive the shirt. With Sam's one color, one design the minimum order was 20 to keep it at about $20 a shirt. I say it won't be done by the LRC trip because we need time to vote which design to choose, time allow everyone to order one, and time allow them to be made or shipped. No biggie if its not ready, just would be nice.
Forgive the quick photoshop hack job here (apologizes to Sam...I don't like it when people hack up my designs like this). This is on a dark shirt but I think the design might work better on a lighter one. We have the vector of the wrx logo...Alex or I have it buried somewhere.
A couple more things. - Price is going to vary greatly depending on what brand/style shirt you want. The absolute cheapest way to do this is one style/color/single color print. In other words, all you do is pick your size. When you get into trying to have one of everything the price dramatically increases. - American Apparel is the Mercedes-Benz of t-shirts. While I love their quality, I have had incredible luck with t-shirts by Next Level...specifically their poly blend. They don't shrink, the are super comfortable and they are considerably less than AA. But...you have to decide whether you want an athletic fitting shirt, a full out cotton Fruit of the Loom style shirt (which I hate) or a wring sprung cotton. From there, it comes down to the quantity and printing. There are local companies that can do it on a 2 week production time frame for a great price if preorders are done.
Just the wrxatlanta logo and that line of cars below it. In the front, not on the backside. My 2 cents
Lets not let this go dead like so many other projects/meetups do. Movie projects, 285 takeover, etc.....
Idk where you were at but we went to the movies And no offense. But 285 take over just screams cop field day to me
Proof that this hasn't tank. Literally a waiting game for the logo and then more waiting for them to decide on TeeSpring.
Like the way you captured all the significant atlanta landmarks, a lot of thought and design in this, well done.
